CAD – Motion Simulation

While CAD has been around for a couple of decades, motion simulation is a relatively new feature of CAD. It is immensely valuable to a lot of different design services, particularly when it comes to engineering work, but you should bear in mind that the price of software which can do this is pretty high too.

Motion simulation is as important as most people would assume, afterall, designing a product which is meant to move without seeing how it moves in practice is never really a complete design. Motion simulation removes a lot of the guess work, and for industries like mechanical engineering, removing the guess work is essential.

This feature of CAD is pretty incredible. It basically incorporates the laws of physics into the designs you’re producing, which ensures that any design you produce while using this capability in the virtual world, are going to be able to work in the real world.
